I'm Hayley Coverley, a UK based Senior Product Designer currently working at Bumble, previously at the BBC. In over 10 years experience I've worked on mobile, web, TV and gaming, for a range of different audiences.

Bumble

2022 — Present

The sole Senior Product Designer within a squad. I've led the end-to-end design on the core profile/swiping experience, and monetisation features.

BBC Sounds

October 2021 — September 2022

A Lead Designer in the mobile app team. Managed Midweight, Junior and Graduate Designers, whilst also being hands on in the design work. Delivered improvements to the core audio playback experience.

BBC Children's Games & Apps

December 2018 — October 2021

Led the UX design direction for a number of mobile games.

UX design direction for a redesign of the interactive storytelling app 'Cbeebies Storytime'.

Worked within a Product team to deliver a new app platform and design system for the 4 Children's apps.

BBC Sport & Live

September 2015 — December 2018

Worked on the live sport and news web and app experience. Led a major new interactive feature for the Football World Cup. Worked on the redesign of the scores, fixtures, tables data experience
